About

Sarah Kate LaVaccare is an artist and writer living in Carpinteria, California. She is drawn to beauty in all its forms: art, good food, meaningful places, and the small details of everyday life. She notices the light coming through the trees, lingers a little longer over a beautiful meal, and finds inspiration in the places and people around her.

Her work spans oil and acrylic painting, murals, illustration, and more. She is a graduate of Westmont College, where she studied English Literature and Studio Art. Her work is often inspired by the beauty and light of Italy and Santa Barbara.

Painting brings her joy and peace, offering a way to slow down, pay attention, and reflect on the art that can be found in everyday life. At the heart of her work is a belief that each day is a gift, and that there is beauty to be found when we take the time to notice it. Through SK LAVA ART, she shares the things she makes, the places she loves, the food she cooks, and the thoughts and experiences that shape her life.
